The second annual WinCo Foods Portland Open presented by Kraft returns to Witch Hollow at Pumpkin Ridge August 24–30, and Volunteer registration is now open at WinCoGolf.com. Join the Volunteer Team and you’ll get a unique opportunity to be inside the ropes with 156 of the best professional golfers in the world. There is no cost to register to Volunteer, and all Volunteers will receive a fantastic Volunteer Package including Nike Golf apparel, admission and parking passes, complimentary meals, and other perks totaling more than $350 in value.

Volunteers are assigned to a variety of committees, performing the many tasks required to conduct a Web.com Tour event. Previous experience is not required, and training will be provided for new Volunteers and positions that require guidance. The WinCo Foods Portland Open is still in need of the following Volunteer positions:

• On-Course Marshals – Provide gallery control on assigned hole

• Walking Scorers – Follow a group & track scores and stats on handheld device

• Standard Bearers – Follow a group & carry mobile scoring sign (open to junior golfers)

• Volunteer HQ Services – Answer questions & distribute uniforms at Volunteer tent

• Player Housing – Host a Web.com Tour Pro for the week

• Child Care – Help watch the Web.com Tour Pros’ children

Please refer to the Volunteer Opportunities page at WinCoGolf.com for more information on the available Volunteer positions. Being a Standard Bearer is a wonderful opportunity for junior golfers to get up close and personal and learn from the Web.com Tour Pros. While some juniors will carry the mobile scoring sign all by themselves, others will be joined by family members for assistance. It is important to sign up early, as committees will close once they reach their capacity of volunteers.

Being the final Regular Season event of the 2015 Web.com Tour, 25 PGA Tour cards will be awarded on Sunday at the conclusion of the WinCo Foods Portland Open to those players who finish the season in the Top 25 on the money list. The competition will be fierce and packed with drama as the Web.com Tour pros battle it out for their spot on the 2015-2016 PGA Tour.
