Thornton wins Washington Senior

Brian Thornton of Meridian Valley won the Washington Senior Open with a 206 total at Olympia Golf and Country Club. Thornton fired rounds of 69-67-70 to win the tournament by four shots.

Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo was second at 210 with rounds of 69-72-69 while there was a three-way tie for third with Chad Fribley of Persimmon Country Club, Erik Hanson of Sahalee and Paul Hogben of Tacoma Country and Golf Club at 214. Tom Sovay of Redmond Ridge was sixth at 215.

The 2027 Washington Senior Open will move back to the Cedars at Dungeness.
