Campbell wins Oregon Open title

Dan Campbell of Bellingham Golf and Country Club found himself two shots back after the first round of the Oregon Open Invitational at Black Butte Ranch. After the second round, the tournament was his.

Campbell fired a second round 63 to open up a big lead and shot a final-round 70 to win the championship by six shots finishing 13 under par for the three rounds. He won by six clear of second place Blake Snyder of PNW Golf Academy. Campbell collected a first-place check of $6,000 for the victory.

Casey King of Loophole Golf finished third at 210 while Preston Babich of Canterwood Golf and Country Club took fourth at 211. First-round leader Josh Scothorne of Interbay finished 12th.

Low amateur honors went to Collin Hodgkinson of Oregon State University who shot rounds of 71-75-68 to finish 11 shots back of Campbell.
