PGA Tour Pro Dahmen hires Oregon State coach

Longtime Oregon State men’s golf coach Jon Reehoorn has been hired by PGA Tour pro and Northwest native Joel Dahmen as his fulltime caddie.

Dahmen has been using a caddie by committee since he parted ways with longtime friend and caddie Geno Bonnalie. They had spent more than 10 years together on the PGA Tour. Since then, Dahmen had used friends on the bag, including swing coach Rob Rashell, a former University of Washington player.

Reehoorn helped the Oregon State men’s golf program grow into national prominence in his 16 years in charge of the program. He guided the Beavers to seven trips to the NCAA championships including several team titles and individual crowns as well.
