Tickets on sale for LPGA major event at Sahalee

University of Washington golfer Brittany Kwon captured the Northwest Women’s Open presented by PNW Equipment at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club.
Kwon led after the first day with a 1-under 71 and then followed with a 2-under 72 to win the tournament by four shots over Beau Bremer of Cave Creek, Ariz. Bremer shot rounds of 73-72.
Former Seattle University golfer Jamie Huo was second after the first day, but faded with an 81 and finished tied for sixth. Belinda Lin of Surrey, B.C. was third at 146 while former University of Washington golfer Kelli Bowers tied for fourth at 152 with Marissa Chow.
