Portland professionals team up to win Senior Pro-Am championship

PGA Professional Tom Carey of Meriwether National with his amateur Brad Carey of Eastmoreland GC won by three strokes over the team of PGA Professional Rob Gibbons with amateur Pat O’Donnell of Arrowhead GC and the team of PGA Professional Brent Murray with amateur Bob Barsocchini of Oswego Lake CC at the Northwest Senior Championships at Langdon Farms Golf Club. The Carey duo (cousins) fired impressive rounds of 66-67-133 in the team gross four-ball competition.

PGA Professional Joey Pickavance of Pronghorn with his amateur Jon Dversdal of Tualatin CC won the Senior division net four-ball competition after firing 63-66-129, 13 under par. PGA Professional Jerry Johnson of Ocean Shores, WA with his amateur Don Sheldon of Astoria G&CC placed second three strokes back.

Winning the Super Senior Division gross division (both players 60 years of age and older) was PGA Professional Greg Brown of Bayou GC with his amateur Gary Owens of Michelbook GC after firing 72-70-142.

Winning the Super Senior Division net division was PGA Professional Mike Coury of the Western Washington Chapter with his amateur Glenn Kemak of Canterwood G&CC with scores of 68-66-134.
