Nate Stember (Portland, Ore.) and Victoria Gailey (Tigard, Ore.) won titles at the 21st Oregon Junior Stroke Play Championship, held at the OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, Ore.

The 54-hole event, regarded as one of Oregon Junior Golf’s majors, reduced the field in half after Wednesday’s round, with the top half of scores (plus ties) advancing to Thursday’s final round.

Stember, a rising senior at Lincoln High School in Portland, overcame a two-shot deficit entering the final round. On Thursday, Stember stayed steady on the front nine, getting to 2-under par for the tournament. His back nine featured two birdies and no bogeys, finishing at 4-under par for the event with scores of 73-70-69 – 212 (-4).
