O’Donnell wins Oregon Senior Amateur

Pat O’Donnell defeated Steven Robinson 2&1 Friday morning to win the 36th Oregon Senior Amateur Championship played   at Rock Creek Country Club in Portland. The win was O’Donnell’s sixth all time, the most for any male player in the history of the event. O’Donnell previously captured titles in 2008 and 2010, before winning three in a row from 2014-16. The match was evenly played with each competitor holding a lead for six of the 17 holes. A birdie on the 17th hole, a par 5 playing 507 yards, sealed the win for O’Donnell.
