The Evans Scholars Foundation has awarded 230 full housing and tuition college scholarships to deserving caddies across the United States beginning this fall.

Evans Scholars are golf caddies who are selected based on four criteria: a strong caddie record, excellent academics, financial need and outstanding character.

Most scholarship recipients are attending one of the 14 universities where the Foundation owns and operates a Scholarship House. The Evans Scholarship is valued at more than $70,000 over four years.

Recipients include: Hannah Gibson of Bandon; Tony Huynh of Portland; James Kirkpatrick of North Bend; Jean Le of Portland; Alex Shields of Boring; Spenser Sutherland of Lake Oswego; William Tooze of Milwaukie; Timothy Dills of Sedro Woolley; Vivian Iwuoha of Seattle and Cameron Marin of Walla Walla.
