New ownership at Deer Park but golf course and RV resort same

There might be a new owner at both Deer Park Golf Course and the neighboring RV Resort just north of Spokane, but it will still be business as usual. The golf course and RV Resort were both sold in an auction – the golf course to the city of Deer Park and the RV Resort to a development company.

One of the first things the city did was to sign a deal with long-time general manager Craig Schuh to run the golf course. The RV Resort will still work in conjunction with the golf course, although they aren’t owned by the same company.

The 127-spot RV park is located next to the Deer Park Golf Course and has just about everything traveling golfers want. There are full hook ups, and a pavilion, complete with pool table, big screen television and more. There’s also a swimming pool and hot tub to complete the package.

“People have been coming from around the country – and sometimes staying for weeks,” said Craig Schuh of Deer Park. “We saw a need for RVs when we expanded in 2003. “
