The LPGA returns to Portland for the 44th consecutive year for the Cambia Portland Classic, August 13-16 at Columbia-Edgewater Country Club.

The final field for the event is not set but annually the event hosts one of the strongest fields on tour and some of the most popular names on the LPGA Tour.

Defending Champion Austin Ernst will join an international field in competing for a title that has been won over the years by Hall of Famers such as Kathy Whitworth, Nancy Lopez, Juli Inkster, Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa.

The tournament has added some fan friendly enhancements to make the event even more enjoyable for fans. From some of Portland’s most iconic food carts and a Craft Beer center, to the new Cambia Social Media Lounge, featuring video monitors and phone charging stations, spectators will find a lot of reasons to make the LPGA’s longest running non-major a must on your summer schedule.

Gigi Stoll, an amateur from Beaverton, won the amateur qualifier for the second straight year to play in the tournament this year. She made the cut last year.

Tickets for the event are available online at portlandclassic.com. Weekly passes are $25; daily tickets are $10, and children 17 and under enter for free. All ticket proceeds go directly to charity.
