Glendoveer Golf and Tennis has hired a new golf instructor, Mitch Lowe.

Mitch Lowe is a member of the PGA of America and has more than 20 years experience as an award-winning private coach, including time spent as an instructor for PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and Canadian PGA Tour players, in addition to thousands of amateur and junior golfers. He has been the Head Coach for the Academy of Art Women’s Golf Team for the past 4 years.

Mitch coaches Elite Junior Programs that are open for young golfers looking to play college golf and college golfers looking to play on the professional level. The Elite Juniors meet 1-3 time per week in small groups, allowing for pin point practice and accelerated learning curve.

All regular individual instructional programs are tailored to the needs of each player with any changes being made simply and naturally with easy and manageable swing thoughts and drills that translate into immediate results.

His teaching philosophy focuses on getting players to enjoy the game of golf and to feel as though they are constantly improving.

Mitch was very competitive as a junior golfer and went on to letter four years while on the University of the Pacific’s golf team. In 1990, he turned Professional and has played on various tours including the Nike and Canadian PGA Tours.

He has played in four (4) major championships (PGA Championships at Hazeltine CC in 2009, Whistling Straits GC in 2010, Kiawah Island in 2012 and Baltusrol CC in 2016) along with 9 PGA TOUR events including the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Reno Tahoe Open.
