Hickory Tournament-2A total of 20 players teed it up at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. going old school. They wore knickers and swung hickory-shafted clubs in an event staged by Durel Billy and Lee Anderson as a way of tipping the hat to golf’s past traditions.

The players were adorned in late 1800’s attire and all had the pleasure of playing with 100-year-old hickey shafted golf clubs. The winning score was an 88.

More events are planned, said Billy, including events at Chambers Bay and again at The Home Course. Call 253.830.4496 for more information.
