Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the Oregon Coast will host another United States Golf Association championship when it plays host to the U.S. Amateur Aug. 10-16 at both Bandon Dunes and Bandon Trails golf courses.

Hosting USGA championships is nothing new for Bandon Dunes Resort as the resort has played host to the 2006 Curtis Cup, 2007 U.S. Mid-Amateur, 2011 U.S. Women’s Public Links, 2015 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball and the 2019 U.S. Amateur Men’s Four-Ball.

Bandon Dunes opened for play in 1999 and was designed by David McLay Kidd. It will play to 7,218 yards for the championship while Bandon Trails, designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, will play to 6,883 for the tournament.

A field of 312 players is expected to take part in the tournament with the top 64 advancing to the match play portion of the event.
