Seattle Amateur is set for July 1-3 at Seattle courses

Since its inception in 1934, this tournament has been unique in its 3-day, 3-course format. Boasting the strongest amateur field in the state, the Seattle Amateur is considered one of the most coveted championships in the Pacific Northwest.

The field is comprised of 162 of the best amateur golfers in the Northwest with a maximum handicap 3.5. The 2011 championship is scheduled for July 1st, 2nd & 3rd at Jackson GC, Jefferson GC and West Seattle GC. A cut will be made after 36 holes to the low 54 players advancing to the final round, who will then compete for the $10,000 Prize Fund at West Seattle GC.
