Portland Golf Club to host USGA Senior Women’s Am

The USGA will again hit the Pacific Northwest when the Senior Women’s Amateur takes place Sept. 26-Oct. 1 at the Portland Golf Club (below).

The event will bring together the top 132 senior women amateurs ages 50 and over.

There will be 18 holes of qualifying before match play will take place to determine the champion.

There will be some local flavor for the event as Lara Tennant of Portland will be in the field and she won the championship in 2018, 2019 and 2021.

Dawn Woodard of South Carolina is the defending champion of the event.
