Sahalee to host a LPGA major in 2016

Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish will host the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2016 and kicked off the event in style bringing in the top guns, including Pacific Northwest native LPGA player Sadena Parks and LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan who will announce plans for the tournament.

The tournament is one of the major championships on the LPGA schedule and will take place June 9-12 at Sahalee Country Club. Sahalee is no stranger to big-time championships having hosted the 1998 PGA Championship, the 2002 WGS-NEC Invitational and the 2010 U.S. Senior Open.
