The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), located in Welches along the western slope of Mt. Hood, offers some of the most scenic golf courses in Oregon.

The Resort’s historic 27-hole golf club, The Courses, has three courses that each vary in playing difficulty: Thistle Nine is perfect for beginners, Pinecone Nine is ideal for golfers who enjoy more of a classic challenge, and Foxglove Nine with its difficult narrow fairways is great for seasoned pros.

Summer at The Courses is full of fun golf-centered events and activities, including the annual Nine and Wine series, featuring nine holes with golf cart, prizes and awards, as well as appetizer and wine stations along the course. For $50 per player, this is a great opportunity to experience golf in the Mt. Hood area.

The Resort not only has exceptional playing conditions, but also a wealth of other recreation that both golfers and non-golfers can enjoy. The Resort offers a variety of dining opportunities, including mallards café & pub located at the 19th hole, where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, happy hour and Sunday Brunch; Wee Bite located near Pine Cone hole No. 1, featuring exactly what its name implies—small bites; or Altitude located in the main building of The Resort, where Executive Paul Bosch showcases his culinary skills and presents locally soured, expertly prepared cuisine for breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour.

Golfers can also enjoy a relaxing post-game treatment at The Spa, the 5,000 square-foot facility offering more than 30 nature-inspired treatments, including the “Restore-Your-Swing” back massage. This treatment, using concentrated and deep-penetrating heat therapy, is great relief for sore backs, necks and shoulders.

The Resort at The Mountain is a great all-inclusive destination for golfers. From its superb courses and scenery to delicious dining and relaxing spa treatments, it’s worth the drive up US-26.

The Courses has Nine and Wine events scheduled for the following Fridays, beginning with a gunshot start at 4:30 p.m.:
• August 5
• August 19
• September 2
