PNGA cancels Lamey Cup

The Pacific Northwest Golf Association alongside our Member Associations have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely with respect to travel considerations including the status of the U.S./Canadian border, flight restrictions/availability, as well as quarantine and vaccination policies.

Executive Directors and Championship staff had a conference call to discuss the current situation as well as concerns for our players and staff in regards to international travel, health and safety. Based on the current information available, the difficult but responsible decision was made unanimously to cancel the 2021 PNGA Lamey Cup.

Due to the uncertainty around the actual opening of the border and the mandatory quarantine policies in effect, it would be nearly impossible to conduct this event in May.
