The LPGA Portland Classic Presented by Cambia has been shifted to new dates on the 2016 LPGA tour calendar. The tournament will be held June 30-July 3 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland.

The tournament is entering its 45th year on the LPGA Tour schedule, the longest-running tournament the LPGA has on its calendar. The tournament has typically been held in August or September. The event is also one of the most popular on the LPGA Tour every year with most of the top players entering and taking a shot at the $1.3 million purse.

The 2015 tournament was won by teenager Brooke Henderson, who survived a Monday qualifier to get in the event and then won by eight shots. She was the third youngest winner in LPGA history when she claimed the title.

The Portland Classic Presented by Cambia will be the second of two LPGA events in the Northwest in 2016. The KPMG Women’s PGA is set for Sahalee June 9-12.
