At the Boeing Classic at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, Billy Andrade overcame a triple-bogey on the fourth hole of the final round to win by one shot over Bernhard Langer.
Andrade’s winning score tied for the highest cumulative score in tournament history at 9 under par. Andrade entered the final round with a three-shot lead and held on down the stretch.
Northwest results: Seattle’s Fred Couples finished tied for third, Eugene’s Brian Henninger finished tied for 59th, Corvallis’ Bob Gilder tied for 61st and Blaine’s Jeff Coston tied for 71st.
