Gonzales named UNLV head golf coach

Olympia native and former PGA Tour player Andres Gonzales has been named as head coach of the Nevada-Las Vegas men’s golf team.

Gonzales has his hand into a variety of golf projects including working on television and radio broadcasts of professional golf events plus running a golf apparel company he co-founded called PLT Golf.

Gonzales if a former player at UNLV and was an All-American during his playing days at the school as well before heading to the PGA Tour. He becomes the fourth head golf coach in school history.
