Gold Mountain will host 2011 U.S. Junior

Gold Mountain Golf Complex in Gorst has lured the USGA’s Junior Amateur championship for boys for 2011.

The event will showcase the brightest junior boys from around the country and be held July 18-23 2011.

Gold Mountain hosted the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in 2006. A total of 19 USGA championships have been held in the state of Washington.

Gold Mountain’s Olympic Course will also host the NCAA Men’s Western Regionals this month. It will be the second time the course has hosted the event.
