Port Townsend is considering closing its only golf course

The city of Port Townsend is considering closing the course and turning it into a park. The city is requesting outside vendors to submit proposals to manage and restore the facility. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2020 and submitted to: City of Port Townsend Golf course RFP, attention: Alex Wisniewski, 250 Madison Street, Port Townsend, Wash. 98368.
