The Pacific Northwest Golf Association and the Washington State Golf Association officially got into the golf course business 10 years ago when the groups bought The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.

The course had been built but never opened until the PNGA and WSGA went in and bought the course from Weyerhaeuser. It opened in 2007 and the course has been ranked among the best in the Northwest and has served as the host for many of the Northwest major amateur championships.

The Home Course was also the companioned course for the U.S. Men’s Amateur in 2010 and will be the companion course for the 2019 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.

The Home Course also promotes and administers such programs as the get Golf Ready, PGA Junior League Golf, Patriot Golf Day, Play 9, Tee it Forward, Women’s Golf Day and more.
