As the Web.com Tour regular season enters the home stretch, Portland readies to renew a golf tradition at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. The fifth annual WinCo Foods Portland Open presented by Kraft Heinz, home of the 25 PGA Tour card ceremony, will be contested August 16-19.

With 156 of the world’s best players, interactive family fun and a new twist on the fan experience, there’s plenty happening at Oregon’s Premier Golf Event. Lucky for you, we’ve got your guide to everything going on at the Web.com Tour’s regular season finale.

The Portland Open field is comprised of the top 156 players on the Web.com Tour money list and when the dust settles on Sunday afternoon, 25 players will depart Portland with their PGA Tour card in hand. In past years, players such as Tony Finau, Aaron Wise, Daniel Berger, Beau Hossler and Justin Thomas have each earned their Tour cards at Pumpkin Ridge.

This year, another elite class is Portland bound. Wyndham Clark, former Oregon Duck and 2017 Pac-12 Player of the Year headlines a field that also includes 2017 Jack Nicklaus award winner Sam Burns, and Maverick McNealy who shares Tiger Woods’ record of 11 wins at Stanford.

At last year’s Portland Open, the 25th PGA Tour card was decided by an eight-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole. Keith Mitchell’s attempt slid by which left Roberto Diaz and Beau Hossler in the 24th and 25th positions respectively.

A fan favorite, ‘The Grove’ located on the par-3 12th hole returns and will once again feature some of Portland’s favorite craft breweries. New this year, wine lovers rejoice as more than a dozen of the Northwest’s finest wineries will be on hand as well. All 21+ patrons will receive ten free tastings with their golf ticket as they take in the action on one of the courses most exciting holes.

Saturday is Family Day at the Portland Open featuring free lunch and a complimentary tournament gift package for the first 250 children in attendance. Before the action gets underway, stop by the Under Armour Junior Clinic on Wednesday August 15th.

Juniors will have the chance to get up close and personal with the best players in the world and they’ll also receive – you guessed it – free lunch and a complimentary tournament gift package courtesy of Under Armour.
