Pacific Northwest golf resorts honored by Golf Magazine for being among best in U.S.

Pacific Northwest golf resorts were given some prominent mention when Golf Magazine came out with its list of the top resorts in the country,

Leading the list for the first time is Bandon Dunes Resort, the resort which sits on the Southern Oregon coast. Bandon Dunes has four golf courses plus a new 13-hole Par-3 course called Bandon Preserve that will open this summer. Bandon Dunes Resort was named as the top Platinum Award winner.

But that’s not all.

On the list of Silver Medal award winners, a pair of resorts in Idaho and one in Oregon made the list.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort, which sits along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene made the list, as did the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort that features the Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, Idaho.

Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon was also named as a Silver Medal award winner for featuring a large resort along with its four golf courses, including the award winning Crosswater.
