Oki Golf, which operates 11 golf courses around the Pacific Northwest, is making some big changes with its Twilight Rate program for its Oki Golf Players Cardholders.

There are new rates and times for Players Cardholders at most Oki Golf courses. The move is a way the company hopes will get more people on the golf course and take advantage of the new Twilight rates.

For example, rates are $25 at 5 p.m.; $15 at 6 p.m. and $10 at 7 p.m. All rates include a cart and are good at Washington National, Redmond Ridge, Trophy Lake, Harbour Pointe, Echo Falls and the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.

The Golf Club at Newcastle is also part of the plan. Costs for the Twilight rates at China Creek will be $35 at 5 p.m., $25 at 6 p.m. and $15 at 7 p.m.

“We trying to make it easy and affordable for folks to get on the course more,” said Oki Golf Director of Marketing David Vladyka. “Even if it’s for just a few holes after work or dinner.”

Oki Golf is also rolling out a Short Course program. Many of its courses will have shorter tees, which will range from 2,500 to 3,200 yards, giving families with small children a chance to enjoy a round of golf without the challenge of playing long holes. The company is following the lead of U.S. Kids Golf Foundation and the PGA in hopes of making its courses more accessible to junior golfers and beginners.
