NW’s Putnam brothers hope to make their marks in 2014

The 2014 professional golf season is off and the Pacific Northwest brother tandem of Michael and Andrew Putnam are hoping to leave their marks on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tours.

Michael is off to a good start, making cuts and making money and hoping to finish in the top 125 by the end of the season to keep his card. Little brother Andrew is off to a good start as well, finishing second at the season-opening event in Colombia.

Last year, the brothers both played on the Web.com Tour with Michael earning a promotion to the PGA Tour for 2014 by virtue of his finish on the money standings. Andrew hopes to make the move this year.
