The producers of Cascade Golfer magazine and the popular Cascade Golfer Cup tournament series announced the details of the all-new Central Washington Shootout, a 54-hole, team-format tournament set over three days in June on three of the state’s most incredible destination tracks.

Combining daily and overall awards — plus hole contests, giveaways and other special extras — the tournament will award players over $10,000 in prizes, including rounds of golf, golf clubs, stay-and-play golf vacations and more.

The all-new event will kickoff at Suncadia Resort’s just-opened Rope Rider course on June 1, then continue the following day at acclaimed Desert Canyon in Orondo before returning to Suncadia for the third and final round, June 3, on the resort’s Prospector course. Both Desert Canyon and Prospector are annually ranked among the top-five public courses in the state by local and national industry media, while Rope Rider — which just opened in August of 2011 — was named America’s “Best New Course of 2011” by Golf magazine.

Lodging specials will be available at both Suncadia and Desert Canyon, as well as other locations in Chelan and Wenatchee. In addition to the 54 holes of golf, each participating team will also receive a tremendous value in prizes just for signing up, plus special admission to an exclusive mixer on Saturday night, June 2.
