Myrtle Beach World Am dates set

The Myrtle Beach World Amateur is set to return for its 2022 run on Aug. 29-Sept. 2 at some of Myrtle Beach’s top golf courses. This year’s event has already surpassed over 2,500 golfers signing up.

The tournament features golfers flighted by gender, age and handicap. Over 50 golf courses will host the flights for men, women, seniors, super seniors and a gross division. The top five players from each flight will win prizes with the winners of each flight playing for the tournament championship on the final day of the tournament at the TPC Myrtle Beach.

The tournament calls for 72 holes of individual stroke play for all the flights.

There is also a nightly function at the 19th hole at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center with food, beverages and information booths. For more, see the web site www.myrtlebeachworldamateur.com.
