International golfers win AJGA

Jimmy Zheng of New Zealand and Tiffany Kong of Vancouver, B.C. were the boys and girls winners at the Ryan Moore AJGA Junior Championship held at Oakbrook Golf Club in Tacoma.

Zheng finished with an 8-under-par total of 205 to win his first career AJGA tournament. Kong had a 6-under-par 207 total to win on the girls side and is a two-time AJGA champion after her victory.

The top local finisher on the girls side was Lauryn Nguyen of Seattle who was at 1-over-par 214 while the top local boy was Jordan Lee of Tacoma who was 5-under-par 208.
