Imlay to head OGA Junior program

Shanda Imlay has been named the new Director of Oregon Junior Golf, announced by Oregon Golf Association CEO Barb Trammell.

Imlay, has been a PGA Professional for over 35 years and is co-owner of FUNdaMental Golf & Learning Center in Oregon City.

A graduate of the University of Montana, Imlay began her career in 1978 as the Assistant PGA Professional at Missoula Country Club in Missoula, Mont. In 1982, she became the first woman elected to membership in the Pacific Northwest Section of the PGA. Imlay has also worked as the Head PGA Golf Professional at Larchmont Golf Course in Missoula, as well as on the Professional staffs at Illahe Hills Country Club in Salem, Ore. and The Oregon Golf Club in West Linn, Ore. Imlay has been the co-owner of FUNdaMental Golf & Learning Center for the past 16 years, while also serving as a volunteer for the Oregon Golf Association, and Oregon Junior Golf.
