If it’s March, it’s time to start posting scores

Once the Pacific Northwest calendar rolls into March, it is time to start posting those scores into the computer to get your handicap rolling again.

The non-posting season in the Pacific Northwest runs from November through the end of February.

In the Pacific Northwest, the GHIN posting computers freeze during winter so scores played at Pacific Northwest courses are not to be posted, because of the inclement conditions.

However, scores shot at golf courses in places like Florida, Hawaii and Arizona are still to be posted because they don’t have winter rules. Rounds that are played starting March 1 in the Pacific Northwest must be posted again.
