Gove wins PNW Senior Section event, leads group to nationals

Just like they say on the PGA Tour, “These guys are good.” The top senior professionals came out to play at  Semiahmoo G&CC for a chance to win the PNW Section Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Cadillac.

Winning the Senior PGA Professional Championship is Jeff Gove of The Idaho Club (Sandpoint, ID) for the second straight year.  He won by two strokes over PGA Professional Mitch Lowe of Glendoveer GC (Portland, OR).

The top five qualify for the 2023 Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Cadillac, which will be held October 26 – 29, 2023, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. PNW PGA Professional Jeff Coston has an exemption into the national event.

Winning the Senior Division (Senior Division plays a shorter set of tees than the Championship Division) was Kevin Coombs of Orchard Hills CC (Washougal, WA). Good luck at the national event to the players from the Pacific Northwest.
