Golfweek Amateur Tour hits the Seattle/Tacoma area with events

The Seattle area Golfweek Amateur Tour will hit the lower part of Northwest Washington with some terrific events.

The tour, which kicked off in March, will hit Trophy Lake Golf and Casting in Port Orchard, Salish Cliffs in Shelton and McCormick Woods in Port Orchard this spring and summer with a trifecta of events to choose from.

The event at Trophy Lake Golf and Casting is set for May 15, the tournament at Salish Cliffs will be held June 26 and the event at McCormick Woods is set for Aug. 7.

Entry fees vary for each event but the entry fee includes green fees, cart, range balls and a prize pool. There are five flights in each event that players will take part in.

The Golfweek Amateur Tour is in its 27th season and has over 6,000 golfing members across the country.
