FootGolf is catching on around the Pacific Northwest – and especially at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, Wash.

FootGolf is available every Friday and Saturday night at Semiahmoo Resort, starting at 6 p.m. on the public course. And the resort takes of care of the kids playing FootGolf, giving them a certificate for a small bucket of range balls.

Semiahmoo is the public course on the odd days while Loomis Trail on the even days.

The resort recently had a 116-player tournament and when it ended, the 50 kids of parents came out to play FootGolf. FootGolf has been terrific for team bonding, said Director of Golf Brett Eaton. He said that groups have signed up for tournaments to play FootGolf.

FootGolf also provides resort guests who are interested in golf or just don’t have the time when visiting a chance to do something different.
