The 50-year-old lodge is being replaced with a beautiful new building that will host the Lodge Restaurant, Aspen Lounge, expansive deck and indoor/outdoor event space. Panoramic views will be featured and is designed to connect homeowners and guests to the surrounding high desert and mountain landscape. The 22,100-square-foot, two-story building includes a new restaurant and bar, second floor lounge, fireside room, private dining room, event space, meeting room, outdoor dining on both levels, and a state-of-the-art kitchen with a catering facility among other spaces.

That will just make the Black Butte Ranch experience even better. But when you take yourself away from the new lodge, there is plenty to see on the expansive grounds at Black Butte Ranch.

The headline attraction are the two golf courses – Glaze Meadow and Big Meadow, two courses which have hosted the Oregon Open in the past. The Little Meadow Putting Course opened in 2020 giving a new look for golf at the resort.

This is a place that been one of the top family vacation destinations in the Pacific Northwest for years. With its variety of lodging on the grounds at the resort and an abundant amount of outdoor activities, Black Butte Ranch has always been able to have a little of something for everyone.

For the non golfers, there is a recreation center as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A spa offers plenty of ways to relax and for those who are a bit adventurous, Black Butte Ranch has its own horse stables and chances to ride and there are also 18 miles of paved bicycle trails around the resort.

And now with the new lodge, Black Butte just keeps finding ways to add on.
