Coston wins Senior PGA Championship for sixth straight time

Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC (Blaine, WA), winner of the Pacific Northwest Senior PGA Professional Championship on September 9th at Bear Creek CC will lead 10 Section PGA Professionals to compete Oct. 6-9, in the 23rd Southworth Senior PGA Professional National Championship.

The National Championship, presented by Mercedes-Benz, will be conducted for the first time at Creighton Farms of Aldie, Va., and River Creek Club of Leesburg, Va.

Coston turned in a winning total of two-under-par 142 to capture his six straight Pacific Northwest Senior PGA Professional Championship supported by Southworth Development LLC and Mercedes-Benz.

Doug Doxsie of Seattle GC (Seattle, WA) of (City, State) finished three strokes back at 145. They are joined by Tom Sovay of GC at Redmond Ridge (Mukilteo, WA), Brent Murray of Oswego Lake CC (Lake Oswego, OR), Jeff Shaw of Hacks Promotions (Seattle, WA), Jim Pike of Sahalee CC (Redmond, WA), Jeff Fought of Black Butte Ranch (Sisters, OR), Chuck Milne of Vanco Driving Range (Vancouver, WA) and Steve Stull of Canyon Lakes GC (Richland, WA).
