Chris Mogg wins AJGA tournament

Chris Mogg of Sammamish, Washington, shot 3-under-par 207 to win at the ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook. In the Girls Division, Morgan Goldstein of Las Vegas, won after shooting 1-over-par 211 at the RMG Club at Oakbrook.

In his first AJGA event, Mogg led or shared the lead all three rounds. The Gonzaga University commit finished his round at 1-under- par 69. The rising junior said he loved playing in an AJGA event because it gave him the chance to play a great golf course with a competitive field. He stayed atop the leaderboard all three rounds and finished the final round at 1-under-par 69.

Perry Xin of Vancouver, British Columbia, Andrew Chin of Honolulu, and Sam Warkentin of Bainbridge Island, Washington, tied for second at even-par 210. Miguel Delgado of Novato, California, and James Kim of Vancouver, British Columbia, tied for fifth at 3-over-par 213.
