The Boeing Classic has announced that the tournament received the 2013 Champions Tour Tournament Business Affairs (TBA) Award at the Tour’s annual year-end conference.
The TBA team rates and grades every tournament in several different categories that determine what makes a successful event and the Boeing Classic for the 9th consecutive year earned the highest overall score among all 27 Champions Tour events.
This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year and fifth time overall that the Boeing Classic has received one of the coveted annual Champions Tour awards. In 2007 the tournament earned the Outstanding Achievement Award, in 2010 received the prestigious Presidents Awards and in 2011 was awarded the Players Award and to go along with last year’s first TBA Award. The tournament held its first event in 2005 and in just nine years has raised nearly $5 million for Greater Seattle charities.
