Spokane’s Liberty Lake Golf Course will have a completely new look when the course re-opens for play this month. Liberty Lake, which had been shut down for the past 20 months, will open in May.

The project, which cost $4.5 million to complete, basically tore up the course and virtually started from scratch. From a piece of property that was virtually flat, there are now hills, valleys and more.

In addition, the project added three new ponds, more than doubled the number of bunkers and enlarged all of the greens.

In addition, a new state-of-the-art irrigation system was put in place for the course to keep a green look throughout the months when it is open for play.
