Whidbey Island pro takes title at Callaway Invitational

PGA Professional David Phay of Whidbey G&CC wins the Callaway Golf Invitational by two strokes over PGA Professionals Brett Eaton of Semiahmoo G&CC and Brian Thornton of Meridian Valley Country Club in Kent.

Phay fired a two -day total of 136 to win the tournament by two shots over Eaton and Thornton.

Amateur Jesse Sitterud of TPC Snoqualmie Ridge GC was low amateur at 139.
