2016 KPMG Women’s PGA major is headed to Sahalee

Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash. will be the host of another golf major championship – this time the club is hosting the 2016 KPMG Women’s Championship, one of the major championships on the LPGA schedule.

The event will be held June 9-12 in 2016 and is a collaboration between the PGA of America, the LPGA and KPMG.

The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will have a field of 156 and will include the top eight finishers from the previous year’s LPGA Teaching and Club Professional National Championship. The inaugural KPMG Women’s PGA Championship was held this year at Westchester Country Club in New York.

Sahalee has previously hosted the 1998 PGA Championship and 2010 U.S. Senior Open.
