Rudy Caparas wins NW Open in one-hole playoff against pair

It took overtime but PGA Professional Rudy Caparas of Five Iron Golf in  Kirkland found a way to survive and win the Pelzer Golf Northwest Open Invitational at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.

Caparas won the one-hole playoff against PGA Professional Daniel Campbell of Bellingham G&CC (Bellingham, WA) and PGA Professional Blake Snyder of PNW Golf Academy (Seattle, WA).  Caparas made a birdie on the first hole for the win. Caparas had rounds of 67-66-67 to win the championship.

Low amateur honor went to Dalton Dean of the University of Idaho who finished fourth

Preston Bebich of Canterwood Country Club finished fifth while Montana Frame of Bar Run and Connor Robbins the coach at Puget Sound University tied for sixth, six shots back.
