The Pacific Northwest has not welcomed a new golf course for years....
What is being billed as one of the world’s largest and most successful amateur golf tournaments tees off in 2014 in Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World. Combining everything that defines Las Vegas—entertainment, dining, parties, resorts, golf, and more—The Las Vegas World Amateur, to be played February 10-14, 2014, is quickly becoming the place to be for amateur golfers looking for a challenge and a good time on and off the golf course. Complete tournament details and reservation information is available at www.LVWorldAm.com.
On the course, the experience will be magnificent because of where golfers will be playing, and off the course the accommodations, parties, tee prizes, and everything else will be something that participants talk about and remember for years. The level of excitement is building, and golfers are already clamoring to be a part of a magical golf week in Las Vegas.
Golf courses that have committed to the 2014 Las Vegas World Amateur include Royal Links, Desert Pines, DragonRidge Country Club and Spanish Trail Country Club. Bali Hai will be the host site for the championship round. Participants will compete over many area golf courses in a 54-hole, individual net stroke play competition. Pre-assigned flights include Men (49 and under, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above) and Women. The top four participants from each flight will be awarded prize.
