Putnam wins two in a row on Web.com Tour

Michael Putnam of University Place, Wash. jumped off to a big lead in the final round of the Mid-Atlantic Chamionship and held on for his second straight win on the Web.com Tour.

Putnam was the winner of last week’s Mexico Open, where he picked up a check for $108,000 and increased his lead on the Tour’s money list. So far he has won $354,234, which puts him in the lead for the tour’s money list.

“It’s the second week in a row and I can’t get used to it enough,” Putnam said.
