PNW Section PGA raises nearly $100,000 in 100-hole event

The University of Oregon women finished third and the Washington women took fifth at the Pac-10 Women’s Championships. Arizona won the event by three shots over second-place UCLA. Washington State finished eighth and Oregon State was ninth.
Two Arizona State golfers tied for first place in the tournament as Carlota Ciganda and Juliana Murcia each were 2-under. Five golfers tied for third at 3-over.
Washington was led by sophomore Sadena Parks who was 13th in the tournament and Molly Aronsson who finished tied for 16th.
The teams will next compete May 6-8 at NCAA regional events before attempting to qualify for the NCAA’s.
