Oregon Golf Association CEO Barb Trammell was elected as the new President of the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA) at the 2016 IAGA Conference last month, held at Amelia Island Resort in Amelia Island, Fla. Trammell, the Chief Executive Officer of the OGA since 2007, will serve a one-year term through next year’s IAGA Conference. It has no effect on her standing as OGA CEO, a role she will continue to hold.

The IAGA is made up of staff members of regional, state and national golf associations to enhance communication and share techniques and information relating to the game of golf. The IAGA is one of the leaders in education for golf associations for Championship Administration, Handicapping, Course Rating, Junior Golf, Communications and more.
