NW juniors advance to nationals

Drew Woolworth of Lake Oswego, OR and Madeleine Conser of Portland, OR won the 2025 Pacific Northwest Junior PGA Championship in Woodburn, OR.

Woolworth will have the opportunity to join the nation’s top junior golfers in the PGA of America’s premium junior event, the 49th Junior PGA Championship, hosted at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex West Lafayette, Indiana. The 49th Junior PGA Championship will be held from July 29-August 1, 2025.

Woolworth, 17 of Lake Oswego, OR shot a total of 137 (7-under par) for the Championship and edged out Quinn Burwell of Helena, MT in a one-hole playoff.

Madeleine Conser, 16 of Portland, OR, shot a total of 141 (3-under par) for the Championship and edged out Amanda Peng of Bellevue, WA by two strokes.

Each of the 41 PGA of America Sections will send four players to Indiana. Therefore, Drew, Quinn, Conser and Peng will be competing at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

Winning the Boys 13-15 age division was Hunter Paquin of Hayden, ID.  Sinjin Tran of Sammamish, WA finished second.

Winning the Girls 13-15 age division was Olivia Snyder of Gig Harbor, WA won with Anaya Lund of Lake Auburn, WA finishing second.

    Ben Bautista of Gig Harbor, WA won the Boys 12 & Under.  Will Roland  of West Linn, OR and Makeo Rallanka of Kenmore, WA finished second.

Elin Wendorf of Lake Oswego, OR won the Girls 12 & Under.  Nora Haggerty of Liberty Lake, WA finished second.
